Explore the beautiful city of Venice Italy is possible! We'll walk the narrow alleys, float the canals by gondola and kayak, and visit the most famous piazza in the world - Piazza San Marco! We'll also climb San Marco Campanile, the tallest building in Venice, and catch a wonderful 360-degree panorama of the city! Our family had many remarkable adventures in this iconic city and we were in awe with the sights around every corner. This was our last stop in Italy and it did not disappoint! Public Transportation
The Venice Vaporetto (waterbus) is another way to get around Venice! As a tourist, public transportation can be a little confusing at first. Keep in mind there are no roads in Venice, the roads are the canals! The best way to get around is by foot, but when you've got a long way to go or want to visit another island like Murano or Certosa, the best way to get there is on the Vaporetto. The Vaporetto is the Venice water taxi that runs all through the canals and all over the city. We'll explain the in's and out's of the Vaporetto.
